Preview of new features & improvements

Our P&ID software PlantEngineer is alive and constantly evolving thanks to many conversations and feedback from our customers and users. Current needs and desired features thus find their way into our engineering software and make it even better.

With the new version, one of these much requested features is implemented – the new media feature. With the standard media already stored, you can color your pipelines in P&ID directly according to the DIN 2403 standard. The media wizard allows you to quickly and intuitively create additional media sets with your own color schemes, which are made available across projects or applications.

Simply activate or deactivate the display of the media colors via the menu bar and store a legend directly on the drawing.

What features can you expect in PlantEngineer 2023?

  • Label feature, customize the default label, per master shape or per shape
  • Extended function list, fast output, change and import of filtered properties in Excel
  • Language extension Chinese
  • Improved report output in background
  • Fast fade-in and fade-out of different color views
